| タイトル | The solution to accept foreign labors through CSR activities |
| 内容 | Japan is turning point now. Decreasing birth rate and aging population(少子高齢化) advances rapidly and Japanese people start to discuss the right or wrong of accepting foreign labors. Japanese companies which have cruel labor shortage start to accept but some countries criticize Japan from a human rights point of view. Japan is agent need environment to accept foreign workers to resolve the labor shortage in this society of decreasing birthrate and aging population. One of the Measures is CSR activity. CSR activity stands for corporate social responsibility and it is an act of companies to accomplish sustainable development. But CSR has da difference between Japan and Europe. Japan don’t work actively from a human rights point of view compared with Europe. One of them is the labor problem. Japan has a cruel problem. It is a labor shortage and this state doesn't have a chance to improve. A solution is accepting foreign workers. Uniqlo work it actively but there is a small number. One of the differences between Japan and Europe is a power of NGO. This thesis argued through comparison with CSR in Europe the problem which Japanese CSR activity has and mention NGO in both. Through these assert this thesis advocate solution which is the cruelest problem to accept many foreign workers. |
| 講評 | Congratulations to the Stevenson Seminar members of the graduating class of 2019! This year’s graduation theses covered a broad range of “globalization, education and culture” issues, spanning topics of ethics in curricula, environmental awareness, fashion, sustainability, concepts of beauty, shutaisei, overseas study, and adventure. Methodologies were nearly as diverse, including the use of text (primary and secondary), qualitative interviews, questionnaires, and field observations. Befitting a university and department that value the moral dimensions of education, nearly all of the theses share an explicit or implicit focus on conscious. In addition, each paper includes an original component, demonstrating the students’ ability to work with new topics or take a new approach to a familiar theme. Also, apart from the normal challenges of researching and writing, each student used at least a few non-Japanese-language sources, and all students wrote their papers in English, evidencing both language ability and tremendous effort. The end result is a collection of papers that have contributed to the growth of the students in terms of both technical skill and intellectual development, and of which the seminar should be proud. |
