Dissolution of romantic relationships during high school and university, the timing of adolescence, may be a downhill event of one's life. However, at times these dissolutions may result in influencing one’s romantic interests and ideals and even more, taken positively. While past studies successfully cover the theme “Love” and broadly explore the term from numerous angles, observations fail to genuinely cover on the dissolution stage of a relationship. Focuses on dissolution of romantic relationships have been capturing the actions and coping processes of the breakups leading to the assistance that is needed for those who experience a heartbreak. Nonetheless, the actual breakup processes have not been discussed sufficiently in the prior research. Therefore, this study aims to examine aspects such as reasoning of the breakup, time length issues affecting future encounters, and possible influence on ones’ romantic interests and ideals. Through the process of studying about the dissolutions, the gender distinction of the observation on reactions and specific actions taken to cope with the breakups has been explored. |
